Family Violence

Domestic violence can happen in all types of relationships and can occur in any social and socioeconomic areas. It is a learned pattern of verbal, physical and/or sexual abuse between intimate partners as a way to obtain power and control.

Lotus Therapies offers Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP)  which is approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Georgia Commission on Family Violence, as a State of Georgia, Certified Family Violence Intervention Program. The FVIP is a 24 week curriculum based intervention program.

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.

— Steve Maraboli
